Craig came into care when he was 15 years old, having lost a dramatic amount of weight in a short amount of time, with serious asthma, and truancy issues due to extreme neglect.
He is now 16. Since he has been assigned a CASA, he is an honor roll student, teaching himself how to play the piano, and is planning to attend a 4-year university after graduating high school. With the support of his CASA Craig has continued to look towards the future keeping his attention on his goals, progress, and interests.

At 7 years old, Lily came into care having been sexually abused multiple times and abused by relatives. She had nightmares and was afraid of the dark due to the reoccurring sexual abuse. She is a very active and intelligent child who has serious behavioral issues due to the trauma she experienced.

Since she has been assigned a CASA, now at age 8, she has overcome fears, been provided support to improve her education, and received a steady, trustworthy role model. Her behavioral issues have been assessed and have begun to be improved through therapy.
